Inselspital Neuronews Congress
Located in Bern, Inselspital is one of the oldest university hospitals in Switzerland, associated directly with the University of Bern. The hospital is part of the Insel Gruppe AG Switzerland’s largest full medical care system – currently employing nearly 11,000 professionals and treating more than 900,000 people, including both outpatients and inpatients.
Inselspital’s Neuronews neurological symposiums have been a fixture of the Swiss medical community for years, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the client had to transform them into virtual events and expertshare was there to ensure a smooth transition. We collaborated with the client on multiple events, with the majority happening in a fully hybrid form. Though some international users were involved, these were mostly dedicated to local participants and were conducted in German.
Inselspital opted for our White Label feature, as well as Custom Design, Streaming, Sponsor, Onsite Support and Certificate options. Slight adjustments were made according to the client’s requests to fully meet their needs.
A dedicated expertshare team member was present at the event venues throughout their duration to ensure help was readily available. Each event required hours of preparation that included creating pre-recorded content.
Each event was attended by around 100 guests, yet the platform has captured 1800 registered users. The events would roughly take around 5 hours and included participants predominately from Switzerland, but also from other parts of Europe and even Asia at times. We designed the platform from scratch in line with the aesthetic of Inselspital to ensure the client’s branding was in the spotlight.
This was a first for our Neuronews Neurological Symposium. Due to the pandemic we opted to go with a virtual event and we were very pleased with the results. The expertshare team were professional and their support was excellent.
